The Frederick Douglass Global Fellowship, which is co-sponsored by the Council on International Educational Exchange (CIEE) and the Penn Center for Minority Serving Institutions (MSIs), is a scholarship aimed at making study abroad more accessible to students enrolled at MSIs. Ten recipients will participate in a month-long, three-credit summer program abroad, for which all fees and travel costs are covered. The program is designed to strengthen leadership skills and promote intercultural awareness. All qualified applicants who are not awarded a scholarship will receive a $1,500 grant toward select Summer 2019 programs. The deadline for applications is February 14, 2019.
